This space for rent. Maybe for a small family from Borneo or an Orangutan. Hey YOU in Borneo stop destroying the forests and hurting those innocent Orangutans. What did they ever do to you?

REACT!!!
In a scene when something happens REACT. In rehearsal try a scene without reaction and then with a couple variations of BIG reactions. See the difference. Scene in trouble??? REACT emotionally and justify it after. Improvise.

REACT!

   -1- Press the button on the left to start the timer
   -2- Press it again to stop.
          (or in some browsers press the space bar)

The GOAL - STOP the timer anywhere from 98 - 100
The number you hit will be shown on the right. Simple!

- TIP - In some browsers remove the 'try again' sign
and restart by pressing the space bar
- TIP - A reward awaits your victory... oh yes it does!

Without reactions scene work starts feeling flat (that feeling where you say "Nothing is Happening") and then you start to panic and look for BRILLIANT offers. The pressure makes it nearly impossible for the scene to succeed.

So... react. Change. Be changed. It's the basis of interesting theatre. Improvise.
